We wanted to do a service project as a family. Of course we decided to make quilts! This one was made for the elderly patients at the hospital who need something extra to keep them warm. I actually put chenille on the back to make it a little heavier. It was really fun and easy to do. The best part is that when I had to stay in the hospital, I saw somebody using this quilt in their room. That made my day!
I have had that feeling! When I had custody of my nephew and he was in Primary Children's, I saw a kid going home with a quilt that I had donated in memory of Holden. Very touching!
